Report: Antitrust warns 4 mobile operators to mend corp SMS terms
MOSCOW, Jun 20 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service has issued a warning to the country’s four biggest mobile operators – MTS, MegaFon, VimpelCom, and T2 RTK Holding – on signs of violation of laws on competition, business daily Vedomosti reported late Tuesday citing the authority’s statement.
The connection operators provide organizations, including banks, with the service of SMS mailout. The antimonopoly service uncovered that conditions of contracts with companies without state capital were significantly different from others.
The operators should mend the violations within two weeks.
